Harry Potter 8, 9 & 10!

There's no time for a picture! Okay, forgive me, because at the moment, while writing this post, I'm in the process of yelling and screaming in joy and wetting my pants repeatedly! J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, (duh) mentioned previously today while on the Oprah Winfrey show that she may publish three more continuations to her extremely popular series of Harry Potter novels!

I can't believe this news! It's SO awesome in SO many ways! That's all I can make onto paper right now, so feel free to freak out in the comments! WOOOOOOOOOOT!!!

Here's a quote from the show, (she mentions the tenth novel in an interview with EW.com): "They're all still in my head. I could definitely write 8 or 9."--J.K. freaking Rowling.

  1. So exciting! I actually haven't read any of the Harry Potter series but it's on my list (I'll eventually get to it!) and I'm sure I'm going to get sucked in just like everybody else...

  3. As someone who really hated the epilogue in the final book I must say that I'm intrigued... but cautiously so...It seems like I heard rumors about the possibility of a prequel type series about the life and times of Dumbledor... but I don't know how I feel about a continuation of the Harry Potter story... for me... no matter how much I enjoyed it... that book is closed. That said I will be at the bookstore on release night for my copy if she does come out with one.

  4. I actually have to agree with Jenn... I don't see how there's more. Of course, there would need to be a new villain, and I am certain that whatever she writes will be awesome, but I really feel like she did well tying it off. I am super intrigued by this though.

  5. Dude, I have never gotten into the Harry Potter stuff. My kids are too young for it, maybe in a few years if they want to read the books, I may give it a try, but I just had no desire to even see the movies. Oh Well. Hey bro, going to watch the new Robin Hood this weekend, is it worth the time?

  6. i really hope she writes an 8 9 10 11 12th and so on.
the harry potter series should never stop if rowling dies, it most be followed up by her daughter.
i have several idea's of what harry potter 8 is about
the most awesomest seems to me that they could perhaps go to hogwords and do their final year because they never went to school in part 7
or perhaps hermione needs to find her parents back
or they find a wizard who claims he has bin dead and has come back, and then harry hermione and ron go to the beyond
and try to get back fred, dumbledore, lilly, james serius and remus.
    and if they succeed
voldemort came back to and the whole story starts again!

sorry for my bad grammar and english
english is not my first language
